Neurodivergent Individuals
Whether you are later-in-life-diagnosed or currently on a self-exploration journey, learning more about who you are and how your brain works can be rewarding and overwhelming. For most of your life, you’ve probably thought “why does this feel harder for me, while everyone else seems to makes it look so easy?”
I’m here to help you explore why that is and to let you know you don’t have to navigate this journey alone. I’ve had the honor of working with ADHD, Autistic, and OCD individuals, where together, we’ve navigated the following:
How neurodivergent burnout could be the root cause of a variety of symptoms including anxiety, depression, irritation, social overwhelm, extreme fatigue, and so much more.
Getting curious about your nervous system thresholds (aka fight/flight)—learning when it kicks on and how it responds to a wide variety of situations. This is particularly important to understanding masking and how that tool has both had an importance and an impact (both positively and negatively).
Identifying your unique sensory profile. This knowledge has the ability to empower you to advocate effectively for the accommodations you may need in a variety of environments, ensuring your voice is heard and respected.
How to identify emotions, and explore the root of those feelings. We also incorporate identifying safe places to “unmask” so your authentic self can breathe and regroup, leading to an avoidance of future burnout.
Additionally, we weave in self-care practices that are individually catered to you, nurturing a holistic approach to your well-being. In this collaborative space, we embrace your uniqueness and work together to foster a deeper connection to yourself and also to others.
